The Tru Tron really shines because its tweakability. There are just plain more options and a mores sensitive trigger than other filters. The Wonderlove does offer more sensitivity than the Proton, but I didn't like the way the filter closed compared to my Emma or Tru Tron. The Tru-Tron 3X captures the deep, rich, vocal, expressiveness of the original Mu-Tron III (no mean feat) while adding enhancements that expand its potential.
